How to Cancel JOI AI on Desktop
Most users are on the web version (because let's be honest, App Stores can be restrictive). Here's the drill for cancelling via the website:
Log in to your account on joi.com. Don't get distracted by the chat bubbles popping up. Focus on the task at hand.
Click on your Profile icon (usually in the top right corner) to open the dropdown menu.
Click on "Settings" or "Manage Account" from the dropdown menu.
Look for a tab or section labelled "My Subscriptions" or "Billing". This is where all your payment details live.
You'll see your active plan displayed. Click the "Cancel Subscription" button.
They might ask you, "Are you sure? She'll miss you!" — Ignore the guilt trip and confirm the cancellation. Follow the on-screen prompts until you see a "Success" or "Cancelled" message.

Take a screenshot of the "Subscription Cancelled" screen. It's your receipt in case their system decides to have "amnesia" and charge you again next month.

- If you just hit "Delete Account" without cancelling the subscription first, billing might keep running in the background like a zombie ex.
- Always cancel the subscription first. Once that is confirmed, then you can go to Profile → Security → Delete Account if you want to wipe your chats and data.
What Happens After Cancellation?
Once you cancel, the service stops renewing, but you keep access until the days you already paid for run out.
So you might as well use those last few days if you want — you paid for 'em!
